ColdFusion and Flex Education for Only Twenty Bucks!

Do you have $20? If so, you could turn that $20 into two, count 'em 2, full days of hands-on, live-and-in-person-instructors-in-the-classrooms, education on some of the hottest technology known to man (and woman too) ... ColdFusion and Flex.

But here's the deal, you have to register like right now! Seriously. These spots are limited and going quick!

Oh, and by the way ... the facilities will blow your freakin' mind! It's on the campus of Indiana University in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana. You really can't find anything like this for the low price of only $10 per day.

What are you waiting for? Why are you still reading this?! REGISTER NOW!!!

I am attending your MURA track. I cannot be there Friday night for the laptop setup. What should I have configured prior to Saturday morning? Thanks

@Frank,
Glad to hear you'll be there.

If you haven't done so yet, check my post here: http://www.stephenwithington.com/blog/index.cfm/20...

There you'll find 'Software Requirements/Files'

In summary, you'll need:
1. ColdFusion, Railo or Open BlueDragon installed
2. A local web server such as IIS or Apache
3. Database server such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL
4. Get the latest 'Mura Standard' download from getMura.com (but DON'T install this yet!) just hold onto the .zip file
5. If you're going to stay for the 2nd session, you'll need the FreshMedia 1.0 template available from Styleshout.com. I'll bring a couple of USB drives with the .zip file just in case.

You should probably also have some sort of IDE, such as Dreamweaver, ColdFusion Builder, Eclipse, etc. Otherwise, you can always use notepad to edit files, but it might slow you down a bit.

Hopefully you should already have most of the sofware (except maybe Mura) ... all of which shouldn't cost you anything either. If you don't or you need help in getting anything listed above installed, let me know.

I look forward to meeting you and have a safe trip!
