Have You Been Missing ColdFusion Weekly Too? Check Out CFConversations!

It's been less than two months and I'm still missing ColdFusion Weekly more than ever ... sniff, sniff. As most of you probably know, Matt Woodward and Peter J. Farrell said goodbye after just over two years of top-notch ColdFusion (et .al.) podcasts on June 15, 2008. I had always looked forward to my iTunes downloading the most recent edition of CFWeekly. In fact, I even sent them a little "Happy Anniversary" message back on March 20th ... not realizing they would soon be shutting things down. I completely understand though. It's not like these guys (or their guests) ever received compensation for their work. Well, financially anyway. Regardless, they've made a great contribution to the ColdFusion community, and for that I'm extremely grateful. Thanks Matt, Peter and the countless others who've contributed to CFWeekly. If you haven't listened in before, the podcasts are still available on their website.

The great news is, I just learned about CFConversations! Call me slow, right? Now, I understand that CFConversations is not a "renamed ColdFusion Weekly." However, they do claim they "hope to succeed ColdFusion Weekly but not replace it." I learned about it from Brian Meloche, aka coofuushun on twitter. (By the way, you can find me on twitter at http://twitter.com/stevewithington, feel free to "follow" me.) He just announced their 11th episode, and I immediately had to subscribe via iTunes. This episode has some awesome guests (as well as some CFStuds) including Sean Corfield, Adam Haskell, Brian Meloche, Rick Mason, Mark Mandel, Bob Flynn, Jeff Coughlin and Richard Goodrow. Don't miss it.

Great show … thanks gents!

Thanks, Stephen, for help spreading the word! Our first eleven episodes have been solid, and we have more are on the way. I think people will like what we're doing once they check it out.
