Since we're in the business of working for clients, it's extremely difficult to be your own client. Obviously, clients take priority since they actually pay us for the time we put into their projects. But when you're trying to work on, oh, let's say for example, your own web site, then it becomes the project that always gets put on the back-burner.

Well, back-burner be gone! After several months of staring at our own web site project on the production schedule, we were finally able to allocate some time to "get 'er done." As of this afternoon, Ignition-Studio.com is finally live.

Probably the most difficult part in developing the site was deciding how best to show our portfolio. We decided, for now anyway, to allow people to browse our portfolio by both "Services" and by our list of "Clients." I believe it came together pretty well.

The entire site is powered by Adobe® ColdFusion® with Microsoft® SQL Server humming along in the background. The vast majority of the site is administered online via a completely custom-built back-end administration area. Only a few "static" pages require using Adobe® Contribute®, or even Dreamweaver®, to edit content. Take a look and let me know how we did!

Alpine Bank's most recent web site redesign was launched one year ago today. Designed by the talented Gordon B. using Adobe® Illustrator®, bankalpine.com was one of the first web projects I was involved with at Ignition Studio. The site uses CSS, XHTML and Adobe® ColdFusion®. The site was also optimized to be edited by the client using Adobe® Contribute® CS3 for any "static" areas and features a robust back-end administration area to manage everything from RSS-enabled news to job applications and online banking enrollments.

Launched www.lifeinprocess.com today. The site was designed by a co-worker (Greg L.) using Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® Photoshop® and his talent. Using CSS, XHTML and a wee-bit of Adobe® ColdFusion®, I brought it to life (no pun intended). The site was built for Borderlands, a ministry of First Evangelical Free Church located in Rockford, IL. Borderlands claims to be a "chill place to explore spiritual beliefs, ask difficult questions, and learn about Jesus." It was a pleasure working with everyone at Borderlands.

The site was optimized to be edited by the client using Adobe® Contribute® CS3.
